Autumn Calabrese 21 Day Fix Extreme Disc 2 - Review
21 Day Fix Extreme disc 2 contains the following workouts:
- Cardio Fix Extreme
- Dirty 30 Extreme
- Yoga Fix Extreme
- 10 Min Hardcore
Cardio Fix Extreme clocks in at 31:17. There are four rounds and three exercises per round. Each exercise is performed for about a minute and the rest range from 8 to 18 seconds. Weights are used for some of the exercises but that is mostly done to increase the intensity of the exercise. There is quite a bit of high impact in this workout. The warm-up is around 90 seconds and the cooldown is around 2 minutes.
Dirty 30 Extreme is a compound based total body weight workout. In this workout, you perform two to three exercise per round for two sets. There are three rounds plus a bonus round. Each exercise is performed for a minute with a 10-second break. The cooldown is just under two minutes and workout has a running time of 31:33.
In Yoga Extreme, Autumn takes you through a series of advanced postures and flowing sequences. After a short breathing segment, you immediately move into a sun salutation sequence. This is followed by a series of postures that you hold for several seconds. Within each posture, Autumn gives you options to modify the move to suit your level. The workout concludes with savasana and meditation. This workout clocks in at 30:36. Autumn does the whole workout. In the other workouts, after demonstrating the move, she would stop to coach and offer tips.
10 Min Hardcore is an abdominal workout. This workout uses a weight. There are 8 exercises and each exercise is performed for a minute. The rest are around 20 to 25 seconds. During the rest, Autumn sets up the next move.
Something I forgot to mention on the other DVD is that before each workout starts. Autumn does a mini commercial for shakeology.
