Dance A Go Go Sexy Nightclub Workout Series Thoughts



Dance a GoGo Sexy Nightclub Workout Series is a collection of three dance featuring Andrea Lin. I don't know Andrea's fitness background. The DVD states she is an "Expert Dancer Choreographer".


The dances in this workout are:


Music Video Dance Workout
Latin Groove Dance Workout
Nightclub Dance Workout


Each workout is on its on DVD which is my biggest complaint about the series. For each, Andrea and a cast member breaks down each dance in a series of sections. Each section might feature anywhere from two to six moves. Each move has a name and you can repeat the section as many times as you need. Music is not used during the break down, Andrea is counting out the dance move in 8 counts.


In Music Video Dance there are 6 sections.
In Latin Groove Dance there are 5 sections.
In NightClub Fun there are 5 sections.

Once you learn the moves, you can proceed to doing the workout to music.

The Music Video Workout and the Latin Groove Workouts give you the option of using titles or doing the dance without titles. There is not a "use title" option with Nightclub Fun. The title option shows the current move and it flashes the upcoming move. I like the title option because it makes the dance easier to learn. Needless to say, Nightclub Fun is harder to pick up.

Each workout starts with a mini picture story. I thought this part unnecessary and wish they would have chapter this section so I could chapter pass it. Each dance has its own song track which play for the entire dance. The music choices are good and they fit the vibe and moves of each dance.

Music Video clocks in at approximate 6:22.
Latin Groove Dance is approximately 7:35.
NightClub Fun runs around 4:49.

Now that I know the dances, I would like to be able to do them back to back for an nice 18 and 1/2 minute workout but because the dance are on three different disc that makes it a pain to do.

Other than that and the fact that Nightclub Fun doesn't include titles, I like the dances, the music, the vibe and the energy.
