Jessica Smith Yoga Fusion Fix - Thoughts
Yoga Fusion Fix is one of Jessica Smith's latest yoga inspired workouts. There are three workouts of varying lengths.
Workout 1 is Yoga for Stress Relief + Relaxation. This workout starts seated and the first move is a seated cat cow pose. Side stretches, rotational twist and chest extensions and seated forward fold are next. For the next sequence, Jessica has you move into the table top position for more cat-cow and downward dog. Other moves in this workout include, plank to floating child pose, baby cobra, puppy pose and bridge pose. This workout is around 17 minutes.
Yoga for Balance + Core Strength. This workout is around 20 minutes. Workout starts off with a chair spine stretch extension and cross-legged forward fold sequence. Next Jessica takes you through the first flow which consisted of mountain pose, one leg chair, crane, warrior 3 and crescent lunge. The next sequence includes table top floor work, plank work, a bridge series, and lying spine rotation. The workout ends with a final lying relaxation pose.
The third workout is Yoga for Strength + Flexibility. This workout clocks in at around 35 minutes. Jessica starts off with an soothing warm up that consisted of breath work, alternating side stretches, rotation twist, standing extensions and forward fold.
After the warm up, comes the flow sequence. There are two flow sequences. The first is modified sun salutation flow sequence. The second flow incorporates lots of moves that stretch the hip flexor and hamstrings.
About 20 minutes into the workout, Jessica takes you to the floor for table top exercises, as well as lying side and bridge work. Jessica concludes the workout with a stretch and some mediation.
Each of the workouts moves at a very slow methodical pace. I felt the music was almost non-existent; almost I could not hear the music unless I turn the volume up but then Jessica was louder. When I did turn up the volume enough to hear the music, I could also hear the ocean behind Jessica, which I thought was pretty cool.
