CoffeyFit RAW Box & Pump 4, 5 & 6 Thoughts

      More RAW Box & Pump workout s . Far as I can tell, Kelly has a lot more Box & Pump style workouts on the RAW APP. The ones I have done are specifically titled Box & Pump.   Box & Pump 4 has a running length of around 48 minutes.  In this workout, you do an upper body strength move that is followed by a lower body strength move. You go into three boxing combination before moving into the next upper body and lower body exercise. Kelly intersperses 1-minute breaks throughout. Out of the six Box N Pump workouts I have done, probably Box N Pump 5 is my favorite. I like the tempo of the workout,  which I found to be very methodical. The format for 5 starts with boxing combo that you do on the right and then on the left.  This is followed by another boxing combo that you repeat on the right and then the left. You are repeating the combos for three sets. Boxing is followed by two compound weighted exercises performed for two sets.  Kelly states that 5 has a definite core

From Kelly Coffey-Meyer's RAW streaming app are the Box & Pump series.   RAW workouts are unrehearsed, un-polish workouts.  You are working out with Kelly in either her basement or garage.  They are typically longer in duration than her 30-Minute to Fitness DVD series.  Kelly often uses the RAW series as prep work for workouts she releases on DVD. I have had the app for awhile but never really done any of the workouts because I live in the country  and  my internet service has been crappy.  I think I finally got decent internet so decided to give some of these workouts a try. In the Box and Pump series, at least the three that I have done so far, you are alternating boxing combinations with strength training. 5 Day Latin Dance System with Lisa Nunziella Dance to live music and the beat of the drums with Lisa Nuniziella's 5 Day Latin Dance System. The DVD gives you the option to select . Cha-cha Salsa Merengue Samba Rhumba Dance with Lisa Extras Explain the Steps Explain the Steps are broken down further by each of the dances. Each Explain the Steps are less than 5-minutes each. In these mini-segments, Lisa walks you through the steps you will be doing in each dance. She goes over each step sequence twice. Each of the 5 dances are preceded by a warm-up and they end with a cool-down. The warm-up and cool-down are the same in each of the dances.  Including the warm-up and cool-down the dances are roughly 23-minutes. The DVD does not allow you to select just the dances without the warm-up. This was soooo annoying. Some of the dances would allow you to chapter past the warm-up and some would not. It was weird. I could chapter pass the warm-up in the Cha-cha but when I tried to do that with

Jessica Smith Walk a 5K The Fun Way - thoughts

Walk A 5K The Fun Way has two 3 mile workouts, warmup and a cool down. The warm up and cool down are both 7 minutes in length and the pace of both are slow. Most of the warm up is joint mobility work. The cool down which Jessica calls Active-Recovery series contains ankle mobility work and stretching. The Walks.   The first walk is Steady Walk and it clocks in at 50 minutes.  My apple watch clock the walk at 2.93 miles. It is a pretty basic walk with the traditional walk moves. The second walk is Fast Walk and it clocks in at 43 minutes.  My apple watch clock this walk at 2.67 miles.  This walk contains more impact than the steady walk. You are jogging, doing a bit of hopping and jacking. There are intervals in which the tempo of the music speeds up and slows down throughout. I like these workouts for when I really don't want to think too much. Very easy to follow. Walk a 5K - 3 & 1/4 stars  

Jessica Smith Split Session Strength - Thoughts

Split Session Strength contains the following workouts: (1) upper-body series that is 35 minutes in length, (2) lower-body: build to burn that is 45-minutes in length and (3) bonus core that is 16 minutes workout. See workout sheet for specific exercise . Jessica takes you the through a circuit style session in each workout where you work a group of exercise, you repeat them for  second run-through before moving on to another group of exercises and repeating those for a second run through. Most exercises are performed twice and you are doing around 12 to 20 reps per exercise. There are a couple of exercises that Jessica only hits once. In the lower body workout, you need weights, a mat, a chair; gliding disk and a step topper with two risers.  Core workout uses a mat. Upper body workout requires a mat, step topper, and weights.    My favorite workout in this set is the lower body workout. Jessica Smith Work It! Total Body Circuit - Thoughts

Work It! Total Body Circuit. is part of Jessica Smith 2022 Strong & Centered series. This DVD has two strength based workouts. Workout 1 is 48 minutes in length and workout 2 is 38 minutes in length. In each workout, Jessica includes an extended warm up before taking you through 4 circuits of 2 to 5 exercises per circuit. Jessica uses two set of weights (light & heavy). Expect lots of reps and some mobility work. You are repeating most of the circuits twice. The second time through, Jessica speeds up the pace.   Jessica is only cast member.     3 stars

June 2022 Monthly Rotation

June 2022 Monthly Rotation Sundays will be treadmill followed by a stretch. Saturday's combination of rest days and dance days with Lisa Nunziella. The other days will be a mixture of workouts from Jessica Smith's new Strong & Centered series, The FIRM Zip Trainer, Aerospace, and CoffeyFit Raw. I will conclude the month with Suzanne Bowen BarreAmped and Jaana Kunitz Figure 8 Fitness workouts.
