Bonus workout: The Healthy Back Workout
HiiT Walk is a 30 minute interval workout that alternates steady state tempo with a faster higher energy tempo. The intervals follow a similar pattern that is in Jessica's other workouts. You will do steady state for 3 minutes and then for 2 minutes you will do a high intensity interval. A bell sounds to let you know you are about to start the interval.
Interval moves are:
1. squat pulse + power knee strikes,
2. rear toe tap punches + toe tap jacks,
3. shuffle step punch + double step jack arms,
4. jump rope + forward/back jog or march, + fast feet shuffle.
In the intervals you are doing a jog or fast march to transition from one move the next.
The workout concludes with a 5 minute cool down. There is a countdown clock that pops up at the 10 minute mark. There is a beginner modifier and another cast member shows more advance moves.
Toning Walk is a 30 minute workout and it uses a theraband. Jessica starts right away using the band in the warm up. The warm up is about 5 minutes. She combines cardio work with the band and strength work with the band. Please see the spreadsheet for list of exercises. The cool down/stretch also uses the band and it is about 2 and 1/2 minutes. A countdown clock pops up at the 10 minute.
The Healthy Back Workout clocks in at 17:43. Jessica is the only cast member and she uses the theraband and a mat in this workout. Jessica performs core, balance and back exercises. Some exercises are performed from the floor and other exercises are performed from a standing position.
