December 2021 Workouts

  December 2021 Workouts - What I did. Planned rotation got interrupted with an unexpected trip.  I was able to lean into Jessica Smith YouTube workouts to get in some focus exercise. That ended up being okay as I had planned to do Kelly Coffey-Meyers two new workouts but they will not be shipped out until next year. This month consisted of Treadmill walks, Cathe, Zumba, The FIRM, Jessica Smith and Tracie Long. I did do a workout from Classical Strength Season 14. I did not really like that workout. The Tracie Long Focus workouts were deceptively tough. It has been a minute since I have done these workouts.

Tamilee Webb Total Stretch for Beginners - Thoughts

Total Stretch for Beginners with Tamilee Webb is a compilation DVD that contains two of Tamilee's previously release stretch workouts. The two programs on this DVD are: Total Body Stretch for Beginners Beginners Stretch for Flexibility Total Body Stretch for Beginners is broken down into three 10-minute  segments.  Segment one is standing.  Segment two is sitting.  Segment three is floor.  I did these segments after my Sunday treadmill runs.  Segment two requires a chair.  Segment three a mat. I really enjoyed these workouts.  In each 10-minute workout, I felt I got a total body stretch workout using the various positions. In Beginners Stretch for Flexibility , Tamilee starts out by giving beginner tips on technique and breathing. She then proceeds to take you through a series of modified yoga and athletic poses, starting at the top and moving down the body. As she goes through the workouts she points out what muscle group you are stretching.  Also, you are performing each stretc

Kelly Coffey-Meyer Coffeyfit-Raw Fitness Ladder 2 - Review

Fitness Ladder 2 is a 60-minute plus workout from Kelly's RAW series.  In this workout, Kelly  has your doing a series of 14 exercises back-to-back.  You get a minute break and then your repeat the exercises in reverse order.  You get another minute break and then your repeat the exercises again in the original order. All in all, you are doing three sets of each of the excises and you are doing each exercise for a minute. And yes, on some exercises, the minute got long.  Within each exercise, Kelly varies the tempo of the exercises. Some are single count, some you are doing a 3/1 count etc. Kelly uses two sets of  weights (light and heavy). Throughout the workout you will hear the timer bell go off, signaling the start and/or stop of the minute. There is a warm up and cool down but there is no menu. As soon as you put the DVD in, the DVD begins to play and goes straight into the workout after about 20 seconds.  Joining Kelly in the workout is Noelle. Fitness Ladder 2 - 3 & 3/
