Jessica Smith Gentle Yoga - Thoughts

Gentle Yoga is right.  This DVD contain four 20 minute yoga segments that primarily focus on stress relief, light stretching and joint mobility.

For instance in the neck and shoulder workout, Jessica perform massages for the face.  In the hips and knees segments, we massage the feet and toes.

The workouts moves slowly allowing you time to perform each rep and/or time to get into the poses and hold them for a nice stretch.  I didn't feel rushed in any of the workout segments.  It was methodical but with a purpose.   And there are no sun salutations.

Jessica is the only cast members and as the workout progresses, she offers various modifications and tips in the form of motivation. 
Jessica cues the workout live. There is no voice over.

I enjoyed each of the segments. I appreciated that this was a true gentle calming yoga practice and did not contain a lot of strength moves. 

A chair is used in some of the segments.
