Happy 2023 - Round 13 Kickoff

 Happy New Year.  It's January in the year 2023. Round 13 kicks off today.  Round 13 goes from January 1 to April 1, 2023. Fasting Protocol I am starting and ending the round with a 36 hour fast. I will be doing daily intermittent fasting using one of these three protocols: 16:8 18:6 20:4 Workout Routine I am starting a 90 day strength and flexibility rotation that I will be doing in three blocks.  Each block is roughly the equivalent of a month. The block contains three weeks of strength, high intensity cardio, and nightly stretching. This will be followed by one week of bodyweight workouts.  I will repeat this pattern three times.  I will also be incorporating nightly stretching. I am going to revisit Autumn Calabrese's Controlled stretch program for the majority of these nightly stretches. The focus of Round 13 is to build strength and improve mobility and endurance. Happy News Years to you all January 2020 Rotation For January, I am starting a Les Mills rotation.  I actually will be doing this rotation for February too. At least that is the plan, as it is a Les Mills 8 week, 5-day rotation that I am about to embark on. I will also be doing treadmill workouts throughout the month to get some extra steps in. Hello All and Happy New Year Welcome to January 2015 This month I will be doing Tracy Anderson and Shaun T workouts plus treadmill and stretching on Sundays. The Tracy workouts have two to four workouts per DVD so I am dividing them up across multiple days. Shaun T workouts come from the latest Beachbody release Insanity Max:30.

Happy New Years Everyone!!! January Rotation I am starting off the New Year with Michelle, Chalene, Zumba and a little Patrick. I will add in some Cardio Coach, some PowerFit and sprinkle in Jazzercise and The PussyCat Dolls. I am looking forward to this rotation and I hoping to blast away those holiday pounds. January Rap Up

Out of the 50 workouts (25 Morning, 25 Evening) I had schedule for January I did all but three of them. I think that is pretty good. I really enjoyed my morning workouts with Amy Bento cardio and Cathe strength workouts. I might try that combination again later in the year. I tried out the FIRM Express workouts . Overall I think they are pretty good. If I do them again, I will probably substitute some of the burst (make up my own). Many of the burst lack the "Oomph" I was looking for. I did like the 8/12 concept though. I also like that they were 20 minutes which is ironic because when I first heard the FIRM Express workouts were going to be 20 minutes, I was not enthused at all. Also in January, I did all of the Tracie Long Longevity and Focus workouts except for Lift Higher (just didn't fit in) and Reach Further (I had this schedule but didn't do it). January 2011 Monthly Rotation will feature a morning rotation and an afternoon rotation. Morning rotation: Sunday - Tracie Long Longevity workouts Monday - Amy Bento Hi Lo workouts Tuesday - Cathe sculpting emphasis strength Wednesday - Amy Bento Step Thursday - Cathe sculpting emphasis endurance Friday - Amy Bento Kickboxing Saturday - Rest Evening rotation : Sunday - Tracie Long Focus Workouts Monday - FIRM Express Cardio Sculpt Tuesday - Cardio Coach Treadmill Wednesday - FIRM Express Cardio Thursday - Victoria Johnson Dance Workouts Friday - FIRM Express Sculpt Saturday - Rest I know it looks like a lot but the longest evening workout is 45 minutes and that is one of the cardio coach workouts. All the FIRM workouts are 20 minutes and the dance and Focus workouts are 30 minutes each. I will be doing some form of sculpting back to back but much of the sculpting in the FIRM workouts are paired with cardio burst.
