Pump It Up! Recap

So Let's Recap! There are 9 Ministry of Sound Pump It Up! fitness DVDs. The Ultimate Dance Workouts they are called.  As far as I can tell, they produced one workout a year starting in 2004. All of the workouts feature music from the original artist and I am guessing they are all artist assigned to or affiliated with the Ministry of Sound record labeled. I bought about 1/2 of the workouts from Amazon. The other workouts I had to get directly from Ministry of Sound. I ordered from their website and the workouts were shipped from England. February Wrap Up

Two Systems I did this month. Insanity and Cardio Karate. I didn't really care for the Insanity System but I liked Cardio Karate a lot. I can really see several of the Cardio Karate workouts showing up in my rotation. February 2011 Wrap Up

Oh I think the weather got to me this month. A couple of days I replaced my workouts with Snow Shoveling. I did manage to get all the FIRM Classics I had scheduled in, but I missed four Kickboxing workouts. Two I just blew off. One I didn't do because of shoveling snow and one I swapped out in place of CIA 2802 All Cardio Latin Xplosion . Love that workout. The two I didn't do just because I didn't feel like it were Patricia Moreno's Kickbox Core Cross Train and Kickbox Yoga Fusion . I did manage to get in a fair amount of evening dance workouts. I reviewed some of them. Others (Dancing with the Stars and Cardio Hip Hop ) I want to do a second time before reviewing them. I did do parts of Tracy's Dance Cardio 2 and Dance Cardio Workout . I decided I need to learn these a combo at a time. The Dance Cardio 2 has 7 combos and the Dance Cardio Workout has 8 combos. January Rap Up

Out of the 50 workouts (25 Morning, 25 Evening) I had schedule for January I did all but three of them. I think that is pretty good. I really enjoyed my morning workouts with Amy Bento cardio and Cathe strength workouts. I might try that combination again later in the year. I tried out the FIRM Express workouts . Overall I think they are pretty good. If I do them again, I will probably substitute some of the burst (make up my own). Many of the burst lack the "Oomph" I was looking for. I did like the 8/12 concept though. I also like that they were 20 minutes which is ironic because when I first heard the FIRM Express workouts were going to be 20 minutes, I was not enthused at all. Also in January, I did all of the Tracie Long Longevity and Focus workouts except for Lift Higher (just didn't fit in) and Reach Further (I had this schedule but didn't do it).
