Suzanne Bowen BarreAmped - Thoughts

BarreAmped is the first workout is Suzanne's BarreAmped series.  The workout clocks in at 74 minutes if you do the whole workout. I did not do the whole workout at once. Instead, I did the individual segments as either an add-on or standalone workout.

The segments are:
Warm Up - 3 min
Light Weight Work - 9 min
Thigh Work - 14 min
Seat Work - 19 min
Mat Work - 16 min
Stretch - 13 min,

The thigh work, seat work, and stretch segments all used a chair.  In thigh work, you are performing the moves standing. In the seat work segment, you start off  with standing moves and then move to floor based moves.
The light weight work segment uses a pair of dumbbells and is upper body work. Suzanne recommended 1 to 5 lbs. The Mat  work segment was mostly upper body but using your body weight as resistance.  There is some core focus exercises in the mat segment as well.

The music is background. Actually I don't remember the music at all.  The set is big and bright with wood tones. There are two other exercisers besides Suzanne; one shows beginner modifications and one shows advance movements.

Solid workout, challenging for me but barre type workouts usually are for me.
My favorite segments were the Light Weight Work and the Seat segments.
