Jessica Smith 10 Minute Quick Walk Mix - Review

This is my first walking working with Jessica Smith. I have done some of her previous workouts. Most of her workouts of late though have been based around walking and her Walk On/Strong programs.
10 Minute Quick Walk Mix contains six 10-minute plus workouts and each workout has a different emphasis.
The workouts are:
Power Up Walk
Steppin Strength Walk
Happy HiiT Walk
Dance Walk
Abs & Arms Walk
Buns & Thighs
Bonus:  Chair Stretch

In each of the workouts, there is a beginner and advance modifier. Jessica does the intermediate workout.  Each of the workouts feature a 10-minute countdown clock.  However, the clock appears after the workout has started and disappears before the workout is over. So each of  the workout is a bit more than 10 minutes.

Power Up Walk features a series of boxing moves along with traditional athletic moves.

Stepping Strength Walk uses a set of weights. Jessica adds various weighted exercise moves as she continues to move the feet. Some of these exercises are squat side-walks, step tap with triceps kickbacks, and marching with bicep curls.

Happy HiiT Walk is an interval workout that increases the pace, the arm movements and alternates various high and low impact moves.  You still have options and can choose to do a full out jumping or modified to an intermediate or beginner level.

Dance Walk features funky and spicy dance moves that are very easy to follow.  Pretty much, you are just changing or altering your walk pattern according to a particular tempo. So there are mambos and cha-chas and a bit of salsa.

Abs & Arm Walk uses a pair of weights.  The exercises are elbow to knee, front raise, biceps curl, triceps back press, triceps kickbacks and bow & arrow pull.  Jessica repeats some of the exercises for a second set.

Buns & Thighs Walk also uses a set of weights.  Exercises are walking squats, inner thigh kick, outer thigh lift, back leg lift, front push kick, lunge pulse, flamingo squat.

The Bonus Chair Workout uses a chair to assist with the stretches.   There are some yoga stretches and some athletic stretches. It is also 10 minutes in length.

The DVD also contains two premixes.
Premix 1 is Strength and Stretch and it consist of the three strength workouts plus the chair stretch.
Premix 2 is 2-Mile Cardio Fitness Walk and consist of the three non-weight workouts.

When I did this workout I was still recovery from an injury and felt it was a great workout to do because of that.  It was easy to do and not too hard on the body.
