Amy Dixon Give Me 10 More! - Thoughts

Give Me 10 More! is a follow up to Amy Dixon's Give Me 10!.  The "More" version is very similar to the first. The workout come with six self-contained 10 minute workouts.  Each of the workout  include its own warm up and cool down.

The DVD offers the following option:
Play All - clocks in at 1 hour and 12 minutes
Fat Blasting Cardio - 11:04
Total Body Shred - 11:56
Lower Body Chisel - 10:43
Upper Body Sculpt - 11:28
Core Makeover - 12:50
Dynamic Stretch & Flex - 14:11

Fat Blasting Cardio features a series of athletic cardio moves. Amy introduces the sequence with a low impact version and then she does the same or similar move showing impact.  You do the move on the right and then on the left.  This workout was okay. I didn't like the moves chosen as much as I did in the other Give Me 10 workout.

Total Body Shred uses two sets of dumbbells and almost all the moves build upon the previous move and are compound in nature.  I like this workout.  Thought it to be a very efficient workout.
The exercises:
Snatch Lunge Series
Squat Deadlift Swing Series
Row Series
Cortsey with Biceps
Triceps Thrushers
Bridge with Flys

Core Makeover was one of the longer workouts and it was one of my favorites.  I really like the sequencing of this workout.  Exercises in Core Makevover are:
Knee to Shoulder
Under the Knee
Grande Chops & Halo
Reverse Lunge Kick Figure 8
Squat Tap Twist
Surfer (Table, Punch Rotation)
Leg Pulls with Circles,  Knee In ,  Abduction
Downward Dawg into Plank with Knee Pulls
Knee Pull Combo
Cobra

Lower Body Chisel is probably my favorite of the six workouts. I thought this workout had great flow.
Exercises
Squat
Booty Pop Squat
Diagonal lunge series
Reverse lunge series
Squat Kick Series

Upper Body Sculpt uses two sets of dumbbells, a light and a heavy pair.  Although truthfully you only use the heavy pair for one exercise. Mostly Amy, had you double up the light pair instead of grabbing the heavier dumbbells.
And the exercises are:
P to V shoulder lifts
Reverse Fly
Runner Rows
Punch Series
Hammer Triceps Extensions
Concentration Curls
Bridge and lying french press
Push up set

Dynamic Stretch and Flex uses a series of yoga moves and athletic stretch moves to stretch the body. This workout does use a mat and contains standing, lying and seated stretches.

The workouts do have a modifier.  The music is pretty good in all the segments and the set is nice and bright.

Fat Blasting Cardio - 3 stars
Total Body Shred - 4 stars
Lower Body Chisel - 4 & 1/4 stars
Upper Body Sculpt - 3 & 1/2 stars
Core Makeover - 4 stars
Dynamic Stretch & Flex -  3 & 3/4 stars
